This book is divided into two parts. The first part deals with basic electromagnetics and the second part with beam-wave electronics in growing-wave devices including ‘slow-wave’ traveling-wave tubes and ‘fast-wave’ gyro-traveling-wave tubes. The first part is a prerequisite for the second part, while the second part covers the application of the topics discussed in the first part.
