Por su característico diseño, que no ha cambiado en casi 400 años, el Tarot de Marsella es una de las barajas de Tarot más conocidas. Sin embargo, debido a este mismo diseño, considerado de difícil lectura, su uso se convierte en un gran desafío, siendo superado por barajas más modernas, basadas en el Tarot de Waite. Este libro, además de trazar una breve historia del Tarot de Marsella, también pretende presentar un método de juego de las cartas de este Tarot mediante una técnica de interrogación basada en el método mayéutico, que se hizo famoso en los primeros tiempos de la filosofía griega por la representación de Sócrates hizo en los libros de Platón. Se proporcionan 100 preguntas basadas en los 22 arcanos mayores, los 22 arcanos mayores invertidos y los 56 arcanos menores, englobando los 4 palos de la baraja, englobando una pregunta para cada posibilidad lógica del juego de cartas del Tarot de Marsella. Se trata, pues, de un método que permite su uso en juegos en solitario y en juegos de una sola carta (carta guía), así como en técnicas psicodinámicas o formatos famosos, como el mandala astrológico. Tratando las cartas del Tarot de Marsella como preguntas, es posible escudriñar los deseos del consultante, así como dialogar los mensajes provenientes del equipo espiritual del Tarot, trasladando los enigmáticos determinismos del Oráculo a un lugar más vivo y pertinente como guía.
