For multiple attribute decision making, ranking and information aggregation problems are increasingly receiving attention. In a normal neutrosophic number, the ranking method does not satisfy the ranking principle. Moreover, the proposed operators do not take into account the correlation between any aggregation arguments. In order to overcome the deficiencies of the existing ranking method, based on the nonnegative normal neutrosophic number, this paper redefines the score function, the accuracy function, and partial operational laws. Considering the correlation between any aggregation arguments, the dual generalized nonnegative normal neutrosophic weighted Bonferroni mean operator and dual generalized nonnegative normal neutrosophic weighted geometric Bonferroni mean operator were investigated, and their properties are presented. Here, these two operators are applied to deal with a multiple attribute decision making problem. Example results show that the proposed method is effective and superior.
In this article, we expand the dual generalized weighted BM (DGWBM) and dual generalized weighted geometric Bonferroni mean (DGWGBM) operator with single valued neutrosophic numbers (SVNNs) to propose the dual generalized single-valued neutrosophic number WBM (DGSVNNWBM) operator and dual generalized single-valued neutrosophic numbers WGBM (DGSVNNWGBM) operator.
Linguistic neutrosophic numbers (LNN) is presented by Fang and Ye in 2017, which can describe the truth, falsity, and indeterminacy linguistic information independently
A valid aggregation operator can reflect the decision result more clearly and make the decision effect more correctly. In this article, a linguistic neutrosophic multiset is first proposed to handle the multiplicity information, which is an expanding of neutrosophic multiset. Two Heronian mean operators are proposed to aggregate the linguistic neutrosophic multiset, one is a linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number generalized-weighted Heronian mean operator, the other is a linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number improved-generalized-weighted Heronian mean operator, and then their properties are discussed. Furthermore, two decision-making methods are introduced based on linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number generalized-weighted Heronian mean or linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number improved-generalized-weighted Heronian mean operators under linguistic neutrosophic multiplicity number environment. Finally, an illustrative example is used to indicate the practicality and validity of these two methods.
This article introduces the concept of Heronian mean operators, geometric Heronian mean operators, neutrosophic cubic number–improved generalized weighted Heronian mean operators, neutrosophic cubic number–improved generalized weighted geometric Heronian mean operators. These operators actually generalize the operators of fuzzy sets, cubic sets, and neutrosophic sets. We investigate the average weighted operator on neutrosophic cubic sets and weighted geometric operator on neutrosophic cubic sets to aggregate the neutrosophic cubic information. After this, based on average weighted and geometric weighted and cosine similarity function in neutrosophic cubic sets, we developed a multiple attribute group decision-making method. Finally, we give a mathematical example to illustrate the usefulness and application of the proposed method.
Information management is a common paradigm in modern decision-making. A wide range of decision-making techniques have been proposed in the literature to model complex business and engineering processes. In this Special Issue, 16 selected and peer-reviewed original research articles contribute to business information management in various current real-world problems by proposing crisp or uncertain multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) models and techniques, mostly including multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) approaches, in addition to a single paper proposing an interactive multi-objective decision-making (MODM) approach. Particular attention is devoted to information aggregation operators—65% of papers dealt with this item. The topics of this Special Issue gained attention in Europe and Asia. A total of 48 authors from seven countries contributed to this Issue. The papers are mainly concentrated in three application areas: supplier selection and rational order allocation, the evaluation and selection of goods or facilities, and personnel selection/partner selection. A number of new approaches are proposed that are expected to attract great interest from the research community.
In order to take into account quantitative and qualitative information in real complex decision making issue, a multiple-valued neutrosophic uncertain linguistic set (MVNULS) is initially proposed, which includes the uncertain linguistic part and the multiple-valued neutrosophic set (MVNS). Consequently, it has the advantages of them in expressing evaluation information.
The power Bonferroni mean (PBM) operator is a hybrid structure and can take the advantage of a power average (PA) operator, which can reduce the impact of inappropriate data given by the prejudiced decision makers (DMs) and Bonferroni mean (BM) operator, which can take into account the correlation between two attributes. In recent years, many researchers have extended the PBM operator to handle fuzzy information.
The neutrosophic cubic set (NCS) is a hybrid structure, which consists of interval neutrosophic sets (INS) (associated with the undetermined part of information associated with entropy) and single-valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) (associated with the determined part of information). NCS is a better tool to handle complex decision-making (DM) problems with INS and SVNS.
Fuzzy clustering is widely used in business, biology, geography, coding for the internet and more. A single-valued neutrosophic set is a generalized fuzzy set, and its clustering algorithm has attracted more and more attention. An equivalence matrix is a common tool in clustering algorithms.
