The author was a college professor for many years, with experience teaching numerous management courses. Prior to that he worked as a Mckinsey/Bain/Boston Consulting Group type consultant, for IBM, several banks and securities firms, and owned a number of small businesses. Dr. Sill’s education consists of a BS with a teaching certification, an MBA from Hood College, and Doctoral research in Strategy with a specialty in downsizing. He has studied at Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Grenoble in France, Henley Management College in England, Newcastle University in England, and Horizons University in France. He has a doctorate in International Business from Horizons. He is dead set against the “winner take all” mentality and wonders if the “going for the jugular” attitude isn’t overrated. Brains, innovation and curiosity are all admirable traits, but wouldn’t the world be a better place with a little kindness? Bob is currently retired and a widower.
