Peter Dick (1821-1896) immigrated, with his father, Johann Georg Dick, and his brother, Philip Dick, from Germany (via France) to Williams County, Ohio. Peter married Barbara Ann Salskiber in 1847, and they moved to Will County, Illinois in 1858, and to Cherokee County, Iowa in 1880. Descendants lived in Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and elsewhere.
