This object may be stated to be two-fold; to communicate correct views of the important subjectwhich is here brought under discussion, and to stimulate and encourage the _church to make those exertions which are absolutely necessary'in order to the introduction of the latter'day glory. How far he has succeeded in the execution of his design he must leave his readers to determine.
