Delana Manley was born 3 October 1826 in Dummerston, Vermont. Her parents were John F. Manley (1802-1852) and Abigail Wilson (1804-1882) She married Porter Chase (1823-1851) in 1843. They had two children. She married Nathaniel C. Kilburn (1832-1888), son of William Kilburn and Patty Darling, in 1852. They had three children. She died in 1888 in Mansfield, New York. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Massachusetts, Vermont and New York.
John White (ca. 1602-1673) was baptized in South Petherton, Somerset, England. He married Joan (1606-1654), daughter of Richard and Maudlin Staple-Cooke West, 1627 in Drayton Parish, Somerset. They lived in Drayton for awhile with their two oldest sons before immigrating to Salem, Mass. in 1639. They later moved to Wenham and to Lancaster. They were the parents of nine known children. Five children were born in England, the rest in Massachusetts. One son, Thomas, settled in Wenham, and another son, Josiah, in his estate in Lancaster. Descendants live in Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, Ohio, Illinois, Maine, Vermont, Canada and elsewhere.
Henry Wilson appears to have emigrated from England in 1639. He settled in Dedham, Massachusetts in 1640. Henry married Mary Metcalf and they became the parents of five children. One of the children was Michael Wilson (1644-1731) who lived in Wrentham, Massachusetts and married Mary Hamant. They were the parents of six children. The numerous descendants of Henry and Mary Wilson live throughout the United States.
