"In the eyes of those on the Left, particularly liberal politicians and the liberal mainstream media, simply identifying yourself as a conservative means that you are automatically a mean-spirited, bigoted, extremist, racist, sexist, homophobe that doesn?t care about children, the elderly, or poor people, and who wants to make the rich richer, the poor poorer, and to blow up abortion clinics. I think that just about sums up the way liberals feel about conservatives. Man, what a label to have. You say that you?re a conservative and you?re suddenly all of these things. Now you see why it's really not easy being right!"These are the candid words of Tim Montrose. And just who is Tim Montrose? Well, he's no famous television personality or radio talk show host or conservative talking head. In fact, he's just an average, ordinary, run-of-the-mill, American citizen -- just like you. Montrose was raised on conservative ideals and values in small town USA, and in the last few years, he has come to the realization that those very principles have been under attack. And the enemy is liberalism. So after years of stomaching all of the Left-wing politics and media bias he could take, it became apparent to Montrose that the war against liberalism is one that must be won. He realized that the fundamental principles and values that our great nation were founded on, our freedom and liberty, were not only worth fighting for, but that they must be defended against the subversive forces of liberalism. So instead of being so passive -- just listening to Rush Limbaugh and his talk radio colleagues and watching the Fox News Channel -- Montrose decided to do his part in winning the war against liberalism.Filled with his commonsense commentary, It's Not Easy Being Right is Montrose's contribution to that fight.
