David McCord (ca. 1746-1818) emigrated from Scotland to Virginia and married Ann Shipley. They settled in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, where he served in the Revolutionary War. The family migrated to Madison County, Kentucky, in 1790. Descendants lived in Kentucky, Indiana, and elsewhere. Locality names not given for most descendants listed.
