The present study is an analysis of the connections established between the intercultural phenomenon and trade. Both intercultural contacts and commerce appeared and developed due to humans’ mobility and their basis was exchange (either spiritual or material). Since the dawn of history people travelled a lot and exchanged knowledge and goods (for instance, silk was brought to Europe by two Byzantine monks from China, in 550 C.E.), so, travel generated interculturality and trade. Intercultural contacts can be positive (trade, for example) or negative (wars). One can say that interculturality is a trait of the human species. Many innovations in different fields spread due to intercultural exchange, globalisation is also based on cross-cultural or intercultural contacts. The Industrial Revolution and colonialism represented the main causes of the intensification of intercultural contacts which generated an increase in international trade. In contemporary human society, this kind of relationships is essential for development in any activity field. The globalised trade in nowadays world was generated by interculturality and World Trade Organization was founded to facilitate it and to create an international network; the technological evolution and the modern means of transport enhanced the relations between different cultures. Interculturality is an umbrella concept covering a diversity of domains: communication, religion, education, anthropology, literature etc. In this paper, we try to answer to the following question: “How can interculturality influence trade or vice versa?” by pointing out the main aspects of the analysed phenomena and their links. To accomplish this task we shall make use of the historical method and imagology.
Social sciences and social scientists have great responsibilities in the development of society and country. As it is known, many phenomena such as reflections of socio-cultural life, human relations, political, legal and economic variables are within the scope of social and human sciences. There are many academic disciplines under the umbrella of social sciences such as international relations, geography, history, law, philosophy, educational sciences, psychology, theology, sociology, linguistics, archeology, political science, musicology, business, tourism. In this context, multidisciplinary scientific studies in these fields are very important and valuable in terms of understanding the present and shedding light on the future.
Experienced economic and social events, political factors, natural disasters, digital age, communication, leaders, people’s abilities affect social and economic life. Since social sciences generally examine social events and the effects of human factors, it is very difficult to reach clear results with controlled observations compared to science. Politicians, scientists, experts and sector managers are in an effort to find effective, efficient and sustainable solutions to social and economic events. The aim of this study, which is carried out in the social and human field, is to examine economic and social events and to investigate what should be done for developments in the field of social sciences. This valuable publication named “International Research in Social, Human and Administrative Sciences II” consists of studies in many different fields, including improvements and developments in the field of social sciences, and international qualitative and quantitative research. I would like to thank my esteemed professors from different fields and universities for their efforts and contribution in the emergence of the study.

In particular, being able to examine the changes in social sciences in a healthy way necessitated an approach with a multidimensional perspective. This situation has increased the need for Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary literature. In order to understand the importance of social sciences, first of all, it is necessary to examine what the social sciences really are and what their purpose is. Social science is essentially the study of society: it provides insight into the social environment and nature, and studies how individuals behave, communicate and relate to one another. Understanding the critical importance of the social sciences for understanding human behavior and social dynamics is at the heart of my academic and personal journey. Understanding people’s complex relationships and social structures helps us understand not only the lives of individuals, but also society as a whole. The humanities have always fascinated me as a field dedicated to exploring the inner world of human beings. Plumbing the depths of literature, tracing philosophical thoughts and feeling the power of art has helped me connect more deeply to the universal experiences of humanity. Administrative sciences is a field that ignited my passion for the effective management and direction of organizations. Exploring leadership principles and studying strategic management approaches have contributed to my understanding of the dynamics of the business world. The aim of this book is to provide a comprehensive overview of the social, human, and administrative sciences, offering students, researchers, and anyone interested an introduction to these important fields. We hope that this book will inspire and encourage readers to explore these fields in depth.fields are very important and valuable in terms of understanding the present and shedding light on the future.
