The draft plan provides for the management of overland flow water as well as water in a watercourse, lake or spring, and sets out monitoring and reporting requirements for the plan area. Existing water licences are proposed to be amended under the draft plan provisions, to ensure they are consistent with the water resource plan. The draft plan contains the proposed terms and conditions for existing water licences. These amendments will clarify entitlements and encourage water use efficiency.
