Excerpt from Constitution and Bye-Laws of the Quebec Yacht Club: Adopted July, 1869 That no member shall be allowed to take pelt in any proceed ing of the Club, or vote on any subject connected therewith, until he shall have paid ail arrears and subscription which may be due to the Club by him, nor shall any Yacht, whose owner or ownerl, or any of them, be in any way indebted to the 0iub, be allowed to enter or sail in any Club matches.
