This compilation presents abstracts of research completed in the areas of health, physical education, recreation, dance and allied fields during the 1991-92 school year. The book is organized into two sections. In the first, "Index to Abstracts," references are arranged under subject headings in alphabetical order. The second, "Theses Abstracts," consists of master's and doctoral theses from institutions offering graduate programs in health, physical education, recreation, dance, and allied areas. Most references are accompanied by abstracts of the research, and all are arranged alphabetically by author's last name, under each institution. The institutions are arranged alphabetically by name. The institutional representative is indicated, and all institutions reporting are listed by state. The publication also includes a list of abbreviations used in the abstracts and a listing of the names of reporting institutions. (LL)
The research consortium program of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance is comprised of free papers, posters, symposia, and invited lectures.
