Thomas MacDonagh was executed in May 1916 for his part in the Easter Rising in Dublin. His "Poetical Works" were published in a hastily assembled edition later that year. This ePub uses the 1916 Poetical Works as its basis, and adds the full text of The Golden Joy, first published in 1906. The entire text has been reset, unlike other available editions, for modern e-publication in a reflowable format making it readable on a variety of modern eReaders. The volume contains notes by MacDonagh and the editor, Lesley Storm, and a brief introduction / memoir by James Stephens.
This electronic (ePub) edition of Collected Poems includes the full text of Plunkett's earlier The Circle & the Sword. There is a memoir of Plunket by his sister in addition to his own essay Obscurity & Poetry which appeared in the Irish Review, February 1914.
This volume provides accurate texts of all the poems by Yeats published in his lifetime or scheduled for publication as of his death on January 28, 1939, including those omitted from earlier collections.
