Hell hath no fury like a heavenly maiden. Horror, Comedy, and Romance Made in Heaven Yuu Watase, the immensely popular writer/artist of the shôjo (girl's) fantasy smash Fushigi Yûgi: The Mysterious Play, has turned her creativity and wry sense of humor to the horror genre with her anime/manga hit Ceres: Celestial Legend. Aya thought she was a normal teenager until she discovered that she can transform into a vastly powerful “heavenly maiden” named Ceres...But Ceres is furious and out for revenge! Sweet Sixteen and Never Been Kissed Aya and her twin brother Aki thought they were going to a celebration of their sixteenth birthday at their grandfather's home, but the funeral-like atmosphere tips them off that something's not right. Their "birthday present" turns out to be a mummified hand--the power of which forces an awakening within Aya, and painful wounds all over Aki's body! Grandfather Mikage announces that Aki will be heir to the Mikage fortune, and Aya must die! But Aya has allies in the athletic cook and martial artist Yûhi, and the attractive, mysterious Tôya. But can even two handsome and resourceful guys save Aya when it's her own power that's out of control?
In the Line of Fire...and Brimstone Yûhi, a relatively popular guy at his school, has his life interrupted by the ominous premonition of his beautiful sister-in-law, Suzumi. She sends him to rescue spunky Aya Mikage, who is under a death sentence by her own family! Suzumi relegates Yûhi to protect the high-spirited coed, but he doesn't know that two personalities dwell within Aya's body--herself and the legendary celestial maiden, Ceres! Yûhi complains about Aya all the time, but gets jealous when the handsome mystery man Tôya is around. Could it be that he actually has feelings for Aya? -- VIZ Media
Yet Another You No more deception, no more lies--now that Aya and Tôya have finally let down all their barriers and come together, that is. But will something else--something outside their love--tear them apart? Miori Sahara seems a nice enough girl--goes to Aya's school, has a lot in common with Aya...looks a lot like Aya, actually. She says she's searching for her missing boyfriend, who's been gone a year now. After an accident robs Tôya of his memories, will Aya turn to Yûhi once Tôya goes back to his "real" girlfriend, Miori? A love like Aya and Tôya's is supposed to last forever...has everything that's happened between the two of them this past year been a lie after all?! -- VIZ Media
Aya Mikage is a seemingly normal high school student until her 16th birthday, when her family imprisons her twin brother and attempts to kill her. She learns she carries the blood of the tennyo (heavenly maiden), and when upset, she will transform into the goddess Ceres. If she is allowed to live, she will bring ruin upon her family. Aya's trip home turns from happiness to tragedy when her own mother suddenly lunges at her with a knife, triggering Aya's sudden transformation into Ceres! Yûhi and Tôya arrive before any more harm is done, but now they are overwhelmed by Ceres' sheer power. Will Yûhi's reckless plan to bring Aya's personality back succeed? Then, Aya follows Tôya right into Mikage headquarters! Can anyone save Aya once Kagami gets his hands on her?!

Aya thought she was a normal teenager until she discovered that she can transform into a vastly powerful “heavenly maiden” named Ceres...But Ceres is furious and out for revenge! Kindred Spirits Suzumi, a prim and proper instructor of traditional Japanese dance, has a demure exterior but a confident, strong interior. She's also a descendent of a tennyo (celestial maiden). Her powers are nowhere near as powerful as Ceres' but Suzumi senses Aya is a kindred spirit and proves to be one of her most valuable allies. Suzumi takes Aya into her home, unwittingly putting herself in just as much danger as Aya!

Aya thought she was a normal teenager until she discovered that she can transform into a vastly powerful “heavenly maiden” named Ceres...But Ceres is furious and out for revenge! Their search for the celestial robes or "hagoromo" resumed, Aya and Yûhi transfer to (yet another) new school. But, here, their problems are more serious than just making new friends. Aki--or, should we say, the "Progenitor"--is on campus and making Aya's life hell. And then there's a kind of actual hell itself, in the form of a beneath-school passageway, where a...creature...is said to roam. Is there any truth to Aki's claim that the monster is the daughter of a priest who made the grave error of angering a celestial maiden or "ten'nyo" hundreds of years ago...? Speaking of ten'nyo, Aya has vowed to never release Ceres again. But Aki has made his own vow...and he will claim Ceres--his woman--one way or the other....
Celebrities say all kinds of outragious things, don't they? But when Shuro--one half of Japan's hottest pop duo, GeSang--says on national television that not only is he the descendant of a ten'nyo celestial maiden, but that his family also still has in its possession the ten'nyo's celestial robe or hagoromo, Aya and the others spring into action! There's more waiting for them in Okinawa than sold-out concerts and sightseeing, though. Shuro's claims of celestial heritage may be more than just PR spin. Kei (the other half of GeSang) may feel more for his partner than friendship. And Kagami--still plotting away at his nefarious "C-Project"--may be closer to achieving his goals than anyone thinks... -- VIZ Media
Aya thinks she is a normal high school girl until she finds out that she can transform into a vastly powerful "celestial maiden" named Ceres ... but Ceres is furious and out for revenge!
"Naughty Girls Who Hit Their Husbands Must Be Punished..." Shocked to learn (from Aki, of all people!) that the entire "Tôya Mizuki" personality is false--a fiction, a cipher without a past of any kind--Tôya struggles to find his own identity. If he doesn't know who he is, how can he help Aya? Elsewhere, while Aya recedes into herself, heartbroken and distraught over her separation with Tôya, Ceres must deal with a bitter and increasingly mad Miori, who blames Aya for everything. Will Aya emerge and face Miori's accusations...or leave her to Ceres? Later, Aki--still fully possessed by the "progenitor," the forefather of all the Mikage--launches a new scheme to claim Aya...his woman. -- VIZ Media
Survival Of The Species Escorted about the facilities of the C-Project laboratories like the prize Mikage breeding-stock she is, Ceres uses the existence of Tôya's child, now thriving inside her, to taunt the monomaniacal Kagami. An outraged Kagami tries to kill Ceres, but will another's sacrifice be enough to protect this "First Mother" of all Celestial Maidens? Aya, initially horrified by Ceres' claim to be "no different" than her relative, Kagami, eventually receives from Ceres the truth--about the past, about how things really were between her and the Progenitor...and about the shocking nature of the mysterious ten'nyo or "celestial maidens" themselves. -- VIZ Media
