No low temperatures were recorded during the month and the precipitation 'was above normal. The weather of the first week in December also was mild, but since the 8th' there has been some real cold weather. On several nights temper atures were below zero, the lowest being 6 below on the loth. This cold_weather is unusual in that it was not preceded or accompanied by any precipitation. The sky has been clear and there has been practically no wind movement except on the first cold day when a strong gale blew from the east.
