Excerpt from Catalogue of Publications of the Geological Survey of Canada: Museum and Offices, Sussex Street, Ottawa The principal series of publications of the Geological Survey con sists of volumes issued under the name of Reports of Progress, from 1843 to 1882-84, and continued under the name of Annual Reports (new Series) from 1885. Since 1885, after the close of each calendar year, a Summary Report by the Director has been issued separately, as has also each report included in the several volumes. All the above mentioned reports, with the accompanying maps, as also the Geology of Canada (1863) and the Geological Map of Canada are enumerated chronologically in the first portion of this catalogue.
