Prior to that she served the Community Action Team of Sisters as Advocate and Chair and focused on poverty reduction projects at the local and regional level. Judy was appointed and elected to the Sisters City Council where she served as Council President. She served as former Vice-Chair of the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council and board member for the Central Oregon Community Investment Board. Judy has been married for 25 years, has two grown children and two grandchildren. A portion of the proceeds from this book will be donated to the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
