These guidelines propose a framework for evaluating existing sexual health education programs & policies and related services available to Canadians. They are also meant to guide professionals in the development of new & effective programs that reinforce behaviours that support sexual health, and offer educators & administrators a broader understanding of the goals & objectives of sexual health education.
