With the deregulation of international trade and a free movement of capital, the world economy is more unstable than ever. This work is written from a perspective which suggests that the world economy is liable to collapse, and as such it cannot be relied upon to provide all the goods, food, fuel and services required to live. The book argues that each community should develop an independent economy capable of restoring full employment to its area and ensuring the supply of goods and services should the mainstream economy collapse.
