Victoria L. Johnson helps women understand how Satan may use sex as a weapon to disable or defeat them. She shares how to get help, hope, healing and freedom from guilt, reminding women that God is still there for them offering his forgiveness and restoration.
It's a well-documented fact that in the past decade, women's health issues have increased dramatically. Hormone problems, infertility, and depression are on the rise, as are chronic illnesses and thyroid disorders. Along with these struggles often comes an increasing sense of isolation and hopelessness. Broken Vessel Restored holds the keys to healing. Author Wanda Cooper has experienced the same seemingly incurable physical imbalances, and the frustration of conventional medicine's inability to help. Through her personal story, Broken Vessel Restored weaves healing processes and medical data with a dedicated, unwavering determination to find answers. From the discovery of an ancient skull with perfect teeth, to the analysis of lost traditions from our ancestors, the author uncovers the causes of declining human health and how to recover it when lost. Some of the many revealed mysteries include: The real cause of mental imbalances and how to stop the suffering. The three nutrients all women's bodies desperately need. How to heal from past abuse and overcome negative thought patterns. The major causes of depression and how to conquer them all. Wanda understands the feelings of confusion and despair that keep women from finding their way out of the darkness. With empathy and compassion, she reaches out to every woman who has ever felt broken, disconnected, or without hope. There is a way to heal - and the answers held within will change your life.
HOW COULD GOD HAVE A PURPOSE FOR ME AMIDST THIS MESS? WHY DO SUCH BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE?If you've recently asked yourself these questions, Paulette Harper's That Was Then, This is Now has the answers. Struggling to recover from a broken marriage and disappointed dreams, Paulette Harper gropes for meaning and understanding. And through her searching, God reveals Himself to her in ways she never before imagined possible. By sharing her struggles with transparency, she illustrates how a heart attitude of surrender allows God to use a broken vessel for His ultimate plans of glory. That Was Then, This is Now, minsters to hurting hearts in every season in life, reminding them that God restores shattered lives, intent on using them for His sovereign purposes.
Unless your selfish desires, ambition, and flesh are nailed to the cross of Christ, you will amount to nothing. To be able to wait patiently for the perfect timing of God's vindication after passing the tough tests of approval and arrive graciously at the port of breakthrough and destiny is not a cheap matter. Many people are in a hurry, and they think God is too slow. However, without being broken and remolded to fit into the divine pattern, your usefulness will be limited. God uses broken vessels. Are you willing to let God operate on you, cut you into pieces in a way that seems merciless, like a qualified, focused surgeon? God does not spare anyone. God is not a respecter of persons. There are no sacred cows in God's kingdom. We need to be completely open to God's working to prepare His servants for true greatness, through the painful experience of brokenness.

He was wrongfully convicted, his lifelong career destroyed, and he was sent to a prison 2,200 miles from home, for a crime he did not commit. She lay in a hospital, clinging to life, with only a 50/50 chance of survival. But they hung on to their faith in God through it all. This is only the beginning of the dynamic testimony of Dick and Donna Walls. Having experienced unimaginable pain, broken hearts, financial ruin, and imprisonment, Dick and Donna have been called to Broken Vessel Ministries, a special ministry to the brokenhearted who need healing and a renewed assurance that God does care.
This collection of some of Elder Holland's most memorable recent talks inspires readers to maintain hope amidst personal trials, suffering, and family struggles by riveting their attention on the Savior who has the power to heal.
Widespread deficiencies in spiritual formation see an increasing number of ministers buckle under the significant burdens common to the task. There are seasons when a powerful triad of the flesh, the world, and the devil converge (Eph 2:2–3, cf. Jas 3:15 and 1 John 2:16). Misdirected attempts to fulfill emptiness, find worth, or heal longstanding wounds ensue. Widespread instances of sexual immorality result. Sound exegesis and analysis of theological doctrine presents an allowance, in certain cases, for ministerial restoration. However, this necessitates an intimate and intricate approach that differs significantly from the varied solutions churches and denominations offer. Few restoration programs bring a biblical response to bear. Remarkably rare are restoration programs that look to correct causal factors and commit to congregational care. This program orients itself on an understanding of brokenness and the need for holistic (re)formation. The latter requires fallen ministers to progress beyond biblical confession and repentance to partner with the Holy Spirit and key authorities such as an overseer, mentors, Christian mental health professionals, and a designated congregation. The unitive goal is a “sanctifying psychopathology” that properly diagnoses spiritual and emotional health; eradicates the adverse influences of emotional, cultural, and spiritual factors; and redirects self-oriented patterns of thought and behavior.
WHEN DIVORCE NEEDS TO BECOME HEALING Divorce brings with it feelings and emotions that people usually have never had to experience before. They range from pure anger and despair to pain and loneliness. Don't let the lack of forgiveness and trust cause you to live one more day with pain and discouragement. Let God use His Word and the principles they teach to guide your way as you learn to discover healthy thoughts and actions. Divorce to Healing: 31 Days of Healing and Wholeness will address many of the most common issues surrounding separation and divorce. It will also challenge you to face the hard times head on so that true healing can bring forth wholeness. When God gave me the thought for this devotional, I felt that it needed to have a little different scope and usage than a regular devotional book. First, I wanted something that could be used or started on any day of the month and you would be able to start connecting. Every day is different and I think the concept of days versus chapters made a lot more sense. Second, I wanted to be able to present it in such a way that it could be used over and over again. The title is not 31 days TO or FOR Healing and Wholeness, because we all know that it is a process and just doing a 31 day devotional will not do it for you. Third, I wanted to be able to have a resource that people felt comfortable with using as a measuring stick. By going through the 31 days multiple times, you can see your progress pertaining to each subject. Maybe this month you have no desire to forgive, but within a month or two, it may be something you are willing to address. Fourth, I wanted a resource that people could pick up at any time and refer back to it, especially since the contents have also been listed by subjects to make it easy to find that specific area you desire to read about. Lastly, I wanted something that people would be willing to use and borrow or give away so that it would bless others as well. There are millions of hurting people, just in America, that would love to have something to refer to when they are needing a little extra help. My prayer is that this devotional will be a blessing to help you heal, become whole, and be able to help someone else through what God is doing in you.
