The D0 and CDF Collaborations measure boson pair production including W[gamma], WW, WZ, ZZ and Z[gamma] production in p{anti p} collisions at √s = 1800 GeV. New results, from direct measurements, are described including W[gamma], WW, and Z[gamma] production cross sections and limits on non-Standard Model triple gauge boson couplings. The limits on anomalous WW[gamma], WWZ, Z[gamma][gamma] and ZZ[gamma] couplings are the most restrictive available. Prospects for Run II are discussed.
W-Pair and Single-W production events are observed at LEP, the Large Electron Positron collider at CERN, using the L3 detector. All decay channels are considered, and data taken in the years 1998 and 1999, with electron-positron collision centre-of-mass energies from 189 GeV to 202 GeV are analysed. The integrated luminosity of the analysed data corresponds to approximately 400pb-1, and a total of approximately 5000 W-pair events and 100 single-W events are selected. The observed cross sections of these W production processes and the differential distributions of the event shapes are then used to measure the couplings of Wbosons with Z bosons and photons. Emphasis is placed on the unambiguous and efficient combination of the information from the different production and decay channels. For the couplings in the model in which gauge invariance is realised linearly, the following results are obtained ... where the errors shown are statistical, systematic and theoretical respectively. All results show consistency with expectations from the Standard Model.
Direct measurements of vector boson pair production processes and trilinear gauge boson couplings have been conducted by the CDF and D0 Collaborations. Preliminary results from searches for anomalous WW/WZ [yields] [mu][nu] jet jet and WZ [yields] eee[nu] production are presented. 95% CL anomalous coupling limits from previously published D0 results are -0.20
The trilinear couplings appear as the three gauge boson vertices and can be measured by studying the gauge boson pair production processes. The measurement of the coupling parameters is one of the few remaining crucial tests of the Standard Model. D0 has studied W[gamma], Z[gamma], WW, and WZ production and found no evidence of anomalous production. In this paper we review all the current results from D0 data.
