This is an open access book.Related to the big theme of the SDGs reinforcement at our previous conference, we try to invite all academics and researchers around the world to participate in the 4th Borobudur International Symposium 2022 (4thBIS 2022). As we know, the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on all the 17 SDGs have demonstrated how what began as a health catastrophe swiftly transformed into a human, socioeconomic and environmental crisis. The 4th BIS brought up “The Innovation Chain: A Contribution to Society and Industry” as the main theme to respond this condition. This conference is expected to support the UN Agenda. Additionally, this conference will also provide avenues for participants to exchange ideas and network with each other as well as domain experts from their fields. Overall, this event is aimed at professionals across all spheres of technology and engineering including the experienced, inexperienced, and students as well. The conference will be held virtually on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia.
Indonesian horror films are currently in full swing. Not a week goes by without a new horror film releasing in theaters. The Indonesian horror genre has a long history since ages decades. Horror films today are formed by the ups and downs, development, and exploration of the genre from time to time. The development of themes, stories, and aesthetic aspects are increasingly varied, and filmmakers are always trying to find loopholes to find new approaches that the market likes. What exactly is the definition of an Indonesian horror film? What is behind the success of horror films in Indonesia? Do our horror films have a quality that is considered as good,and even unique in the storytelling and the aesthetics? Through a historical point of view, this book makes observations using a narrative and cinematic approach. This book will describe the achievements and developments of Indonesian horror films from time to time. Each era has its uniqueness. Each film represents its era. Every filmmaker has a different approach and style to respond to their times. As a result, Indonesian horror films will continue to develop dynamically at any time. Since the early nineteenth century, foreigners have been fascinated by Javanese puppet theatre or wayang. This book is concerned with one form of wayang found exclusively in West Java or Sunda. Wayang golek is performed with three-dimensional wooden rod-puppets, and its repertoire ofstories is taken from the great Indian epics, the Mahabharata and the Ramayana.
