The word “rapture” has been used in the church vernacular as an experience of escapism departure from the earth while God is destroying his creation. It has been the scare tactic used to receiving Jesus as one’s personal savior. The truth is meant to be a love experience of God’s presence that removes all doubt and fear. It is an experience of oneness as a marriage between two people because of their unconditional love for one another (John 3:16). It is an experience of now while in our natural body. It is a marriage to Jesus as the head of Christ and the church as the bride of many members, joined in oneness as Christ all in all. It is a consuming life of love and light in the earth, ruling and reigning together with Jesus Christ as one body.
Volume 2 is a continuation of our study on the Book of Revelation as pertained to who we are today in Christ Jesus. It was never meant to be a book full of tormenting fear that would cause us to want to leave this world, but through the mind of Christ, we have access to our heavenly inheritance to live in our Christ identity today. The Bible is a book written by God and the formation of His family. When we believe and understand the revelation of Christ already in us, we are shaped into His image so that when others see us, they see their Heavenly Father. When Jesus said “It is finished,” was he just making a way for personal salvation with God, or was there a bigger picture? Have death and the judgment seat been appeased, or is there something more that we are required to do? John 14:12 says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” For over two thousand years, the body of Christ has been like kings and lords hiding in a cave, waiting for a someday when they get to heaven to receive their inheritance as a son of God. When Jesus died, he gave us the ram's horn to declare that our jubilee is here now for us to receive. This book continues with the Holy Spirit’s instructions for our spiritual process that must take place individually and then corporately in each child of God to walk in the authority and power as His son. What He created in spirit must come forth in the flesh with His image and likeness. We must know in our heart that we are an offspring; a portion of the original.

The course of daily life in the United States has been a product of tradition, environment, and circumstance. How did the Civil War alter the lives of women, both white and black, left alone on southern farms? How did the Great Depression change the lives of working class families in eastern cities? How did the discovery of gold in California transform the lives of native American, Hispanic, and white communities in western territories? Organized by time period as spelled out in the National Standards for U.S. History, these four volumes effectively analyze the diverse whole of American experience, examining the domestic, economic, intellectual, material, political, recreational, and religious life of the American people between 1763 and 2005. Working under the editorial direction of general editor Randall M. Miller, professor of history at St. Joseph's University, a group of expert volume editors carefully integrate material drawn from volumes in Greenwood's highly successful Daily Life Through History series with new material researched and written by themselves and other scholars. The four volumes cover the following periods: The War of Independence and Antebellum Expansion and Reform, 1763-1861, The Civil War, Reconstruction, and the Industrialization of America, 1861-1900, The Emergence of Modern America, World War I, and the Great Depression, 1900-1940 and Wartime, Postwar, and Contemporary America, 1940-Present. Each volume includes a selection of primary documents, a timeline of important events during the period, images illustrating the text, and extensive bibliography of further information resources—both print and electronic—and a detailed subject index.
