The Department of Trade and Industry seeks to promote productivity and successful enterprise for UK business by encouraging the development of improved science and innovation projects, and promoting policies for fair but competitive markets. Part of that strategy saw the launch of the Innovation Report and 10 Year Science and Innovation Framework in 2003, alongside a Five Year Programme and Business Plan. This report also sets out the DTI's progress in respect of Public Service Agreement (PSA) targets, as originally stated in the 1998, 2000 and 2002 spending reviews, with particular focus on 2002, covering 2003-06 period.
This report contains information on the progress made by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) against its Public Service Agreement objectives and targets reached under the 2002 Spending Review.
This report sets out interim assessments of the progress made by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) against its Public Service Agreement (PSA) performance targets as agreed in the 2004 Spending Review, together with progress against the Department's efficiency target and the outstanding targets from the 2002 Spending Review. This report is supplementary to the Departmental Report 2006 (Cm. 6812, ISBN 0101681224).

The overall objective of the Department for Transport (DfT) is to provide reliable, safe and integrated public transport which is environmentally sustainable. This document details the DfT's progress against its Public Service Agreement targets, as agreed in the 2002 Spending Review, using data available up to November 2004. Issues covered include targets to reduce road congestion, cut road accidents and casualty rates, improve railway and local transport systems, reduce journey times and delays on London Underground services, and to meet strategic air quality objectives.
