In (16) Kemble expresses opinions on Charles Young and Eliza O'Neill. Subjoined to (25), the letter to Tate Wilkinson, June 21, 1778, is a catalog of his acting parts. Included with the letters to Coxe is a draft of one to Kemble from Coxe concerning Kemble's acting of Hamlet.
Correspondent is possibly John Mitchell, the theatre manager. Mitchell mentions the illness of an "old gentleman" and says there is not the least occasion for her mother to come to town. Following Mitchell's letter, a draft response from Ellen Tree in which she mentions coming for a week if she can get leave from the theater. Both the letter and the response make reference to Ellen Tree's sister Maria. Date of letter from postmark.
