The autobiography of Jacob Miller. From childhood to old age God has been faithful to open doors of opportunity to minister. He gave me a wife and seven children, 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. He allowed me to pastor several churches, serve on the mission field, and be the leader of some mission organizations. All praise and honor and glory goes to Him.
Jacob Miller was born in Germany in 1702. He came to America with his family when he was a young man and married Margaret Miller. They lived in Pennsylvania before settling in Virginia. Gradually members of the family moved west and now descendants live in Kansas, California, Indiana, and elsewhere.
Jacob Miller, Jr. (1803-1894), son of Jacob Miller Sr. and Jane Filson, moved from Pennsylvania to Guernsey County, Ohio and married Jane Scarborough in 1840. Descendants lived in Ohio, New York, Colorado and elsewhere. Miller and Scarborough ancestors lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia and elsewhere.
Jacob Miller (1836-1941), a Bavarian native, was a pharmacist in Glendale, Montana Territory. Collection consists of photocopies of twenty-four letters (June-October 1884) from Miller to his fiancee, Emma Feigenbaum, in Wathena, Kansas. Also included is a paper, written by Miller's grandson, Roger Miller, based on the letters.
