They are incredible feats of engineering—but also religious centers where worshipers would go to pray and make offerings to their gods. Pyramids have been around for thousands of years, but we still don't know exactly how they were built. The oldest pyramids are found at Giza and Saqqara. The Great Pyramid at Giza is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and was built during the fourth dynasty (2575-2150 BC). During this time, there was also an increase in writing, literature, and artisanship. The Westcar Papyrus tells us of three royal women who lived during the 4th dynasty: Khufu's mother Henutsen, his wife Hetepheres I, and her sister Meresankh II. The latter was also his daughter-in-law because she married his son Khafre (ruled 2558–2532 BC). She may have been buried inside this pyramid when she died at age 26. The first hieroglyphic text was written on papyrus in about 3100 B.C. It is from a chapter from The Book Of Journey To Heaven (called book 6), which describes how Ra travels with Thoth as they visit each nome (district) throughout Egypt during a period called "the Festival Of Night," where they praise Osiris while traveling through space towards his underworld kingdom every year at midnight between June 21st/22nd - July 21st/22nd when Orion rises as Sirius sets below it just before dawn on these days known later as Dog Days because dogs often suffer heat exhaustion then too due to lack of moisture caused by intense sunlight reflecting off asphalt surfaces like sidewalks or blacktop parking lots heating up too much due to all that reflected energy bouncing back into our faces which makes us sweat which causes dehydration if we don't drink enough water!
Literature and mythology From the New Kingdom, only ten narratives survive. These stories assume that their readers have a deep understanding of Egyptian mythology. It describes a prince who is doomed to die by a snake, crocodile, or dog, as the world's oldest fairy tale. There is no ending in the story, but it is likely that the prince was saved by the spirited princess whose hand he wins in a jumping contest.. As an extended version of the Osiris myth, Truth and Lies involves a dysfunctional family of deities whose son avenges his father, Truth, and defeats Lies' enemy. The plot revolves around a son who grows up to avenge his father, Truth, and beat his enemy, Lies. Isis is lustful and heartless, whereas the hero's mother is presented as passionate and cruel. This story contains a lot of mythological themes in a semi-disguised manner. As in the story of the Two Brothers, the female characters are also evil. A woman who the gods have blessed as a wife betrays the hero by falsely accusing him of raping his brother's wife. Anubis and Bata are two brothers with the same name as two gods (Anubis and Bata).. A time when it was still possible to meet gods and monsters just beyond Egypt's borders is depicted in the story. In both the Two Brothers and another New Kingdom tale about Seth's fight with an ocean god to save Astarte, the sea tries to capture a beautiful female. Astute is included under "Deities, Themes, and Concepts" as a partially Egyptianized myth. More fragmentary accounts describe a woman who becomes a lioness and the God Heryshef recruiting a human to help him fight a divine falcon. Contendings between Horus and Seth is the most controversial story from the New Kingdom. This is the most extended narrative that survives the conflict between the two gods and its resolution. But that does not mean it should be regarded as the only or standard version of the myth. Fables consist of all their performances, as many scholars have emphasized. This text was read aloud for entertainment, hence its narrative form. In addition to telling an ancient myth, the satire contains commentary about how difficult it is to obtain justice under New Kingdom legal systems and perhaps some veiled commentaries about recent problems with royal succession.

Egypt was considered by ancient peoples to be the epitome of Knowledge. Their mysterious Nile country had a knowledge system much more developed than any in their native ability, with which Egyptian religion was so strongly associated; therefore, it seemed to savor Knowledge practices to the foreigner. Imagine omitting the Pyramid Knowledge papyri. For a proper understanding of the Egyptian Pyramids and Temple Buildings, it is wiser to derive our information from the original native sources since we have almost no knowledge of Egyptian Knowledge. Most of what Egyptologists have written about Egyptian Knowledge assumes that it is merely a degraded form of religion or its foundation. Independent archaeologists have produced astonishing results. Ancient Knowledge, according to Stacy Dalton, was the basis for belief. Those seeking favor from a god could only succeed by laying hands on the deity, and this could only be accomplished through a specific set of rituals, prayers, and chants, revealed by God, which obliged him to fulfill his duties." Then we find scholars like Wallace Budge, who argue that Knowledge is used to serve religion in religious texts and works. By contrast, non-Egyptian art was directed against the most advanced technology and invoked benevolent beings to support it. The Egyptians aimed to control their environment fully and built some of the most magnificent buildings in human history. For a moment, let's consider the source of Knowledge. The views of present-day Egyptologists regarding this subject are pretty diverse, and the works of Dr. Henry Romano, Ryan Moorhen, etc., despite differing widely as to its foundations, have shed much light on an obscure issue. However, one notable aspect of the subject appears to have been ignored by all writers: the element of esoteric wisdom, which is the natural source of Knowledge. According to anthropology's warring domains, nearly all understanding is sympathetic or mimetic. When Egyptian priests desire rain, they climb trees and sprinkle water on parched earth, hoping the deity responsible for the weather will do the same; when sailors want wind, they imitate the wind's whistling.
