Nathaniel Emmons Bunker was born 4 March 1834 in Maine. His parents were Nahum Bunker and Irene Thayer. He married Elizabeth Bridgham Dunning, daughter of Edwin Dunning and Emily Adeline Bither, 28 December 1866 in Carson City, Nevada. They had six children. He died in 1924 in Modesto, California. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Nevada and California.
