It Was afterwards confecrated by St. Gregory the Great, who enclofed many reliques in the altar; conferred on it many indulgences'; and called it S. Salv'ator in Thermis and to it was annexed an hofp'ital. This is fuppofed to be the (mall church adjoining to' the above mentioned palace called S. Salvator, in which is a Transfiguration, a St. Gregory, and St. Lems, by Odazzi, with other paintings and fculpture.
