Excerpt from General Register of Lake Forest College, 1857-1914 In the class lists it will be noticed that the class presidents and secretaries are designated in caps for the classes since 1900. It has been impossible to get trustworthy information about the class officers before that date. The ideal official relation between a college and its alumni is maintained through the class secre taries: we hope that in time each secretary will feel himself responsible for the accuracy of his own class roll. From one of them he received on his eighty second birthday a basket of pansies, with these lines. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
