In this wildly entertaining collaboration, novelists Owen King and Mark Jude Poirier team up with illustrator Nancy Ahn to present a wickedly funny graphic novel about an alien invasion on a college campus. Stacey, a brilliant, overachieving astrobiology major at Fenton College, had planned on just another lonely Spring Break on campus. But when a hurricane batters the small college town, downing power lines and knocking out cell phone reception, Stacey and her friends are stranded with no way to communicate with the outside world at the worst possible moment: in the midst of an alien invasion. As space insects begin to burrow into students and staff—transforming them into slobbering, babbling monsters—a conglomeration of misfits must band together to prevent the infestation from spreading. Meanwhile, Stacey’s long-stifled romantic feelings for her friend Charlotte begin to surface, while the professor she had admired and respected becomes the students’ worst enemy. Illustrated with enormous wit and dynamism—mixing classic tropes from science fiction, indie comics, B-movies, and campus culture—this graphic novel is something different, a large-scale action/adventure story as seen from the point-of-view of a contemporary, realistic heroine. The result is a funny and singular work unlike anything else you’ve ever read.
Follows the efforts of Stuart, his younger sister, and his best friend to locate a missing video-game controller-- a seemingly innocuous mystery that may involve the fate of Earth itself!
For centuries Weyland-Yutani has tried to weaponize the aliens. Now someone has beaten them to it, sweeping through Yautja space and turning predator into prey. Faced with the overwhelming forces of the Rage, Earth envoys forge an unprecedented alliance with the Predators. Yet even the combined might of two races may not be enough to stop the carnage, as an unstoppable swarm of Xenomorphs topples planet after planet, penetrating ever deeper into the Human Sphere.
"This publication -- a cross-pollination of fact and fiction -- takes the form of an illustrated natural history guide (volume 1), offset by the artists' interventions."--Colophon.
This book studies American science fiction films depicting invasions of the USA and Earth by extra- terrestrials within the context of imperialism from 1950–2020. It shows how such films imagine America and its allies as objects of colonial control. This trope enables filmmakers to explore the ethics of American interventionism abroad either by defending the status quo or by questioning interventionism. The study shows how these films comment on American domestic hegemonic practices regarding racial or gender hierarchies, as well as hegemonic practices abroad. Beginning with the Cold War consensus in the 1950s, the study shows how hegemony at home and abroad promotes division in the culture.

Sam is telepathic and knows the aliens are coming. The problem is he’s also a zombie and no one trusts him. Sam needs to find allies who can help him find the proof that the aliens exist and are invading the Earth, before its too late to prepare for the invasion. Before Sam can do that, he’s got to escape the base he’s trapped in, but his every move is being watched by Michelle, who will use any excuse to lock him up and toss away the key. Can Sam prove that the alien threat is real in time to warn the world? But if Sam’s going to find the proof he needs, he’s got more to contend with than a vengeful ex-girlfriend, because there are other people willing to do anything it takes to stop him from spreading the truth, including former Zombii Co. employees still fanatically loyal to their dead leader.
