The population status of cutthroat trout Oncorhynchus clarkii at Halfway House Lake in Southeast Alaska was examined in June 2019. A 2-event mark–recapture experiment was used to estimate abundance and length composition. Fish were caught using baited hoop traps, baited funnel traps, and hook and line and sampled for species and length. Abundance of cutthroat trout >180 mm fork length (FL) was 222 (SE = 16). Most of the cutthroat trout >180 mm FL were 200 mm FL (pp180−199 = 0.83, SE = 0.03). The length composition of Dolly Varden Salvelinus malma in Halfway House Lake was also assessed. The mean length of Dolly Varden 180 mm FL was 192.7 (SE = 1.3) with most fish
This document reports on the results of a two-event mark-recapture study which was conducted at Florence Lake in 2003 to estimate the abundance and length composition of cutthroat trout, Oncorhynchus clarki.
This document reports on the results of a two-event mark-recapture study which was conducted at Patching Lake in 2005 to estimate the abundance and length composition of cutthroat trout, Oncorhynchus clarki.
A two-event mark-recapture study was conducted during 2002 at Florence Lake in Southeast Alaska to estimate the abundance and length composition of coastal cutthroat trout Oncorhynchus clarki clarki. Fish were captured with hook and line gear and hoop traps, marked with t-bar anchor tags, and given a dye mark as a secondary mark. The pooled Petersen estimate of abundance of cutthroat trout =180 mm FL was 13,515 fish (SE = 1,010; 95% CI = 11,534 - 15,495). Most of the cutthroat trout =180 mm FL were estimated to be =300 mm FL ( = 0.987, SE = 0.054). A much smaller proportion were 301-360 mm FL ( = 0.02, SE = 0.006), and very few fish were =360 mm FL ( = 0.005, SE = 0.002). Although the Petersen estimate was biased, abundance estimates and length composition of large and small fish were relatively similar to estimates from 1994 and 2003
This document reports on the results of a two-event mark-recapture study which was conducted at Turner Lake in 2005 to estimate the abundance and length composition of cutthroat trout, Oncorhynchus clarki. Summary data for the 2004 study is also given.

This document reports on stock assessment data for cutthroat trout based on mark-recapture studies conducted from 1994 through 2003 at Turner and Baranof Lakes, southeast Alaska.
