She's the treasure he never thought he'd find… Shifter Duncan Kincaid enjoys dancing. Country dancing to be precise. After all, the lasses love nothing more than a man who can swing them around a dance floor. And that's the other thing Duncan loves—the lasses. A wink and a smile is all it takes to have a partner for the night, until a faerie with dark curls and brazen curves throws him off his game and shakes him to his core. He's a danger to her life, and a risk she's willing to take. With his I-know-what-you-look-like-naked green eyes, sexy brogue, and cocky grin, Duncan is the type of wolf Ryanne wouldn't normally waste her time with for more than a night. But underneath the playful exterior, she senses a haunting sadness, one that calls to her own dark soul and distracts her from her purpose. The murder will just have to wait.
From L.E. Wilson comes the next Fated Mates Steamy Shifter Romance in the Kincaid Werewolves Series. There's a fine line between who you love and what you hate. For Lucian Kincaid, that line may as well be a wall. As far as this Scottish shifter is concerned, the only good faerie is a dead faerie. Until a chance encounter captures the interest of the predator inside of him. His need to be near her is unexpected. His hunger for her insatiable. Being chased down by creatures determined to suck out her soul is not the way Keelin Doran pictured her evening walk. Lucky for her, she's rescued by something far scarier—a wolf with a thirst for blood who shifts into a man beautiful in his savagery. But her heart is not prepared for the man beneath the fur, or the revelation his presence in her life reveals. Keelin is The Key.
War is coming. Marc Kincaid has one shot to convince a rival pack that their only chance at survival is to form an alliance. Nothing will stop him from protecting what's his. Until he runs across an unexpected glitch—a bonnie Fae lass with curves capable of unmanning him and a stubborn streak to match. His response to her is instant and hungry, and makes him burn for more than just survival. But she's not a rule he's willing to break. Bronaugh Lane has been fighting her dark fae nature her entire life. Giving up control is not an option. Not even for a wolf with the hard muscles of a warrior and a soft Scottish brogue. She should keep her distance, but her lusty nature is her undoing, nearly messing up her plans to get close to the wolf pack, because Marc is her only chance at infiltrating their den. And then the game changes. There are no rules now.
When all seems lost, where can you find hope? Katherine and Jay Wolf married right after college and sought adventure far from home in Los Angeles, CA. As they pursued their dreams--she as a model and he as a lawyer--they planted their lives in the city and their church community. Their son, James, came along unexpectedly in the fall of 2007, and just six months later, everything changed in a moment for this young family. On April 21, 2008, as James slept in the other room, Katherine collapsed, suffering a massive brain stem stroke without warning. Miraculously, Jay came home in time and called for help. Katherine was immediately rushed into brain surgery, though her chance of survival was slim. As the sun rose the next morning, the surgeon proclaimed that Katherine had survived the removal of part of her brain, though her future recovery was uncertain. Yet in that moment, there was a spark of hope. Through forty days on life support in the ICU and nearly two years in full-time brain rehab, that small spark of hope was fanned into flame. Hope Heals documents Katherine and Jay's journey as they struggled to regain Katherine's quality of life and as she relearned to talk, eat, and walk. As Katherine returned home with a severely disabled body but a completely renewed purpose, she and Jay committed to celebrating this gift of a second chance by embracing life fully, even though that life looked very different than they could have ever imagined. As you uncover Katherine and Jay's remarkable story, you'll be encouraged to: Find lasting hope in the midst of struggle Embrace the unexpected Welcome God's miracles into your everyday life In the midst of continuing hardships, both in body and mind, Katherine and Jay found what we all long to find: a hope that heals the most broken place--our souls. From L.E. Wilson comes the next Fated Mates Steamy Shifter Romance in the Kincaid Werewolves Series featuring an enemies to lovers forbidden romance. I'm used to fighting for what I want, and I want Bitsy. This time, she won't be getting away. Keegan McRae is the alpha of the Austin werewolf pack. And sometimes, for the good of all involved, a male has to make choices he wouldn't normally abide by. Like allowing the Faerie you're sweet on to be the main attraction in a rodeo. Not as the cowgirl, but as the livestock. Stubborn as a bull and just as fearless, Bitsy caught his interest the first time she flipped him off. But before he had a chance to make things right with her, she got loose. And though his wolf howled in protest at the loss, he had no choice but to let her go. Bláthnaid (Bitsy) Dunn swore she would never again set foot in the hellhole that was Texas. Or anywhere near the arrogant shifter who was the main reason she hated it so much. The last time she'd seen him, his well-worn boots had stomped all over her hide—and her pride. Yet, here she was again. This time, however, she's here on her terms. Keegan needs her help to infiltrate the fae world, and she needs him to help her find her father. His green eyes are full of remorse, and his easy smile is hard to resist, but forgiveness isn't part of the deal.

In history, this grand arterial 1500-mile waterway was always seen as the natural frontier between the northern provinces of the Iranian empires and the outer Turanian lands. It was for centuries central to Achaemenid and later Persian power. But, as the author shows, it has a prehistory which goes very much further back: and a succession of skilled yet still elusive Bronze Age cultures flourished here well before the rise of Cyrus the Great in the 6th century BCE. This richly illustrated book explores the fascinating history, art and archaeology of the region, including its primal trade in silk and foodstuffs; the mineral wealth of the Oxus basin; its exotic myths and beliefs; and the converging tribes and peoples which led to a new stability, economic growth and urbanism. The volume contains 150 full-colour photographs of notable artefacts, including silver decorated vessels, inlaid stone pots, agate beads and 25 'Bactrian Princesses': remarkable statuettes made in chlorite and limestone. Most of these rare objects have never been seen, let alone published, before.
A wolf is trapped in a tree for wrongdoing, by the Great God Pan. He can only free himself by helping others. He waits for many years, then the tree is felled, and used to make new floorboards to refurbish a cottage in a wood. After which Wolf is able to come to life and help people. A young boy and his little sister, part of a family who rent the cottage, are first to see Wolf. His first helpful action is to save the little girl from danger. Later, he takes the boy on adventures to the past where they help a sweep boy; a herbalist and her daughter; a wood mouse and her family and an old lady who is ill. The story ends happily, with a very lucky find - and everyone lives happily ever after!
