This book is the life story of my son Harold, who was born with disabilities. Because he could not talk he was always frustrated, and frustrating to me, his mother. Although I loved him dearly, he caused me heartache, guilt, shame, fear, and anger. For years I cried out to the Lord for relief. If it had not been for Harold and my desire for relief from such pain, I would not have had the intense desire to see others set free. This is an unbelievable story, showing that a seemingly negative situation can be turned around to become a truly enjoyable journey. The journey is a blessing, not only to Harold and me, but to our entire family who has experienced restoration through the journey. It was in the dark times of my life that I finally began to learn many wonderful truths, which I hope will inspire people to believe that God can do anything when they apply the principles by which I have learned to live. Faye Eddy is 87 years old and is the caregiver for her 93-year-old sister. She has three living children whose ages are 57, 60, and 63. Faye was active in Women's Aglow and served on the Kent and Green River Area boards. She was also liaison for various chapters, helped with retreats and served wherever needed. Faye worked at Renton First Baptist Church and helped many people through her prayers and counsel. She is now retired and her health limits her present activities. Her doctor says it is a miracle that she is still alive. This is Faye's first book. She wrote it because she felt that God wanted her to share her experiences and miracles with others, so that they too, through Jesus, can experience miracles.
