Bird, Brinson, Cone, Pilor, Gillis, Hawes, Kilcrease, Long, Provence and Stewart - 10. For Gums - Messrs. Eppes, Tracey Smith, Snell and Myrick - 5. H. V. Snell having received a majority of the votes cast, was deo elated duly elected President of the Senate. On motion, Messrs. Long, Kilcrease and Pilor, were appointed a Committee to conduct the President elect to the Chair. The President, in an appropriate address.
