G. To falling when a man is thrown down a precipice, or to going to the gallows, when a man is forced thither. In the latter cafe, there is or may be an entire and perfect Oppolition of the whole will, to the nece ity. In the former, there is a con fent of the will to the neceflity, though there may be a degree of oppofite choice arifing from fome other motive, bias, caufe or necefiity.
